Not all heroes wear capes and they aren’t always found on the football field or in the operating theatre.

They can be living right next door. Do you know someone who has given outstanding service to the Cockburn community? Or have you been involved in a voluntary community project which deserves recognition?

We all know those wonderful people who go above and beyond to make our community a better place. Now is the time to shine the spotlight on them.

Eliza Ponds Land Estate is proud to announce, nominations are now open for the Home-Grown Hero Awards. The award celebrates people within our community who give so much to help others, who are passionate about making a difference, freely volunteering to help and protect our community.

We want to hear the stories of those making a valuable contribution to the lives of others and who enrich our own community.

Let us say ‘thank you’ to people who go that extra mile to make a positive contribution to the lives of others in the community.

Nominate your local “Home-grown Hero”!

Voting is now open until Friday November 29, 2019.
